Suffix Definitions for Triplex Plunger Pumps
Shaft Sizes
N = Natural Shaft; 24mm solid shaft
E = Electric Shaft; 5/8", 1", or 7/8" hollow shaft
D = Direct Gas Drive Shaft; 3/4", 1", or 7/8" hollow shaft

Flange Types
F7 = Flange for XTV, XJV Series 'D' version for close coupling to gas engine (3/4" I.D. shaft)
F8 = Flange for XTA, XTV, XJV series 'E' version for close coupling to NEMA 56 - C motors
F14 = Bell housing and flexible coupling set for XRCA series for NEMA 182-184 (1-1/8" I.D. shaft)
F15 = Bell housing and flexible coupling set for XRCA series for NEMA 213-215 (1-3/8" I.D. shaft)
F17 = Flange for RKA, XRCA series 'E' version for close coupling to NEMA 182-184
F23 = 5/8" hollow shaft close couple to XMV pump

CR = Gear Box (example: RKA4G30N-CR)

Pump Care
  • To prevent freezing use environmentally friendly or R.V. antifreeze (always use for winter storage)
  • Change oil every 3-5 months or every 500 hours of operation (initial break-in oil change after first fifty hours). DO NOT change oil in the SJ & XJ series pumps.
  • Flush water valves and detergent injector with plain water on a regular basis after use.
  • Use line strainer, 50 mesh minimum
  • Never store pump with water in it.
  • Consult AR North America for chemical usage
